Traditional religion faces unique
challenges in a modern culture mired
with quick fixes and a desire for
everything new and improved.  Religions
of antiquity faced similar challenges to a
lesser degree.  People return to tradition
and ritual when approaching the subject
of God and morph their beliefs onto a
tactile and willing mind.  

The nature of God is, without question,
one of the most important, fundamental
and basic questions of human
existence that underlies the fulfillment of
many people’s life strategies.  
Fundamentalist religions have sought to
bring perfection to the imperfect
philosophies of those who writ in
antiquity for the cultures in which they
were living.  The only way to truly know
God is to go within the self to find a
relationship with Him and to know the
Being from a deep, personal, soul level.  
To seek God in the outside world from a
religious teacher’s perspective is
territory fraught with difficult questions
and dilemmas that cannot be resolved.  

Faith, hope, and charity are the
methodology of many traditional faiths
when approaching the subject of finding
the God Source in one’s life and
projecting it outward to the world.  
Religious doctrine on the earth plane at
this time in history has a commonality.  
The main traditional faiths are founded
on the writing of ancient texts by authors
who had profound, internal experiences
of knowing God in a personal way.  This
fundamental choice on their part to
document their experience made it
possible to influence others to repeat
the process with parallel results.  It is
not easily judged from outside the
specific author’s experience and should
not be so.  














Each person’s innate and
unquestionable rationale for discovery
the God Source in their life is sacred
territory.  So God is within and without.  
But God is not understood fully without
having a profound experience of
knowing Him inside the self first and
foremost.  God is understood when
internalized in miraculous moments that
transform a soul to profound
understanding.  

Religious dogma whereby leaders, who
are all too human, seek to tell followers
what to believe and how to live is a
flawed approach.  True religious leaders
lead people to the water of knowledge
whereby they internalize the experience
of God in their own terms.  It is easy to
assume that religion, culture and the
nature of God are somehow
intermingled with a range of hopeful
ramifications about a difficult and
confounding subject.  In modern culture,
people have trouble finding themselves.

Finding an internalized, personal,
relationship with God seems like a
formidable challenge.  The concept of
traditional religion helps seekers to find
a methodology that they can grasp
through the learning and guidance of
religious leaders while internalizing and
deepening their relationship with the
God within.  However, it cannot be
underscored anamorphism is a truism
where faith is concerned; meaning that
religious leaders should not be viewed
as speaking for God.

Sometimes, mainstream societal
religions are headed by leaders who
wish to forward a movement and to
issue an edict to the world that their faith
is “right” or “the true and correct one”.   
This is a flawed approach that will result
in much confusion for people who follow
them.  It creates separation and the
feeling that some followers are superior
over others.  It is a human approach of
intolerance for people and cultures of
the world.  These approaches are not
aligned with true spirituality and love of
God.  
It is easy to see that there is a
quagmire about religion, culture and
the nature of God in societies where
people think that their faith is the right
one based on arbitrary factors such as
the number of followers, territories
held, or powerful agendas in history.  
But the religious experience of finding
God is a personal, internal experience
not a traditional, cultural movement per
say.  People of all races and cultures of
the world should place their beliefs in
Him and structure their internal
experience based on the personal
relationship.  

The opening and emptying of the self
and waiting for the small, ancient voice
to call is the proper alignment but it is
difficult in such a complex world that
does not value of time spent in prayer,  
remembrance and meditation.  

God exists.  He is ready, willing and
able to assist the human race in
finding the appropriate approach to
solidify and construct an internal
foundation that will give support to
human beings throughout their
lifetime.  God will answer those who
call, listen and wait patiently for an
experience of enlightenment.  The God
Source, Whomever people believe that
to be, is every ready to personalize a
relationship with Him.  Willingness is
the key.  Often people discover this
process in a remedial approach.  That
is to mean, that most often people have
tried the ways of traditional religious
dogma and return to the ways of an
internal spiritual experience to deepen
that experience and formalize how they
will bring their gifts to the world.  That is
not to say that the award of this
knowledge is easily earned.  But the
willing and able individuals of a society
with positive cultural respect for belief
en mass are important to the self
discovery of the religious experience as
well as the promotion of faith in
general.  

So the subject of religion, culture and
the nature of God is a complex one and
it is never fully understood when
people try to force ancient dogma to fit
modern culture.  People will always
find their internal experience with God
to be in the here and now and it
deepens their commitment to service
to the world with the manifestation of
what is positive and correct about love
and brotherhood for all.  

The relationship with God is a profound
and ancient mystery.  How this process
works is best left to the experiential
level to explain it.  It is an experience in
the moment based on personal beliefs
and miraculous moments of profound
realization and delightful surprise.  
People will continue to join together in
traditional religious institutions with
others who have common beliefs until
their internalized experience about the
nature of God has been solidified. But
to seek or bind together to belong to
the correct methodology for finding God
as it relates to ancient text and ritual is
not really the only approach.  People
can study the ancient religious texts as
guidebooks to understand the author’s
internalized religious experience.  But it
should not be misconstrued to mean
that people should blindly study
whatever the person, prophet, saint, or
leader et al. had to say without
question as the word of God.  The heart
of these matters is the author’s
personal and profound experience of
God in their life and their desire to bring
it to the world by writing it down.  

So to conclude, God is within and
without in the world.  But primarily God
is within the self in the form of a
mysterious self discovery process.  
The unity outside the self occurs after
this fact when people with similar
experiences join en mass to discuss
their personal experiences with God.  
This process is never more warranted
than today.  

Faith and belief are elemental aspects
of the human psyche when combined
with anamorphism and ancient
dogma.  It does not really matter the
approach or methodology that leads a
person to a personal relationship with
God.  It is important that individuals
make finding God a priority, believe
with their heart, develop a personal
relationship with Him, and bring it to
the world in the form of service for all
mankind.
