Predictions: 4th Quarter 2003                                        Posted 08/23/03
Headline Predictions
Arnold Swartzenegger, Governor of
California
Correct 11/04/03 Arnold sworn in as the
Governor of CA

Kobe Bryant convicted of sexual assault
3/22/05 Incorrect? USA Today
newspaper reported that Mr. Bryant
settled out of court with the accuser for
an undisclosed amount of money.  This
could be viewed as incorrect on my part
but it seems as if he was guilty and
settled so as not to conclude the court
case.  He was, however, viewed as
guilty in the court of public opinion and
lost several large commercial
endorsements.

Scot Peterson goes free
3/16/05 Incorrect? CNN News reports
that Scot Peterson was sentenced to die
by lethal injection for the death of his
wife and unborn child.  This could be
deemed incorrect but vigorous appeals
are underway.

Financial Markets
Markets will make steady progress in
his quarter but not phenomenal gains
and losses. There will be rewards in
technology stocks. Pharmaceuticals will
remain strong. The medical field and
hospitals in particular will be near
financial collapse from a shift to a
healthier population, overbuilding of
facilities and programs, and dwindling
revenues. Car and truck sales will be
steady and return to some of the gains
they had lost as people replace worn out
vehicles for new sensible cars. Gas
prices will soar and there will be
unstable highs and lows.
Correct
4/07/04 CNN Reports experts say that
there will be high car gas rates for
summer.
Correct 6/22/04 Highest gas
rates on record. People will buy more
fuel efficient cars.

Globally
The global race will remain strained by
territorial occupations in several
countries and religious, cultural, and
territorial strife. Peace will not come this
quarter and there will be a return to
more bloodshed. The leadership of
several countries will take a wait and
see attitude while common people fight
for survival and die. Children will be the
hardest hit by the escalating strife.

Correct 9/01/04 CNN reports terrorists
in Russia took over a school on the first
day of class.  9/03/04 The stand off ends
tragically with 122 children dead.
Correct 10/01/04 USA Today
newspaper reports that 35 children died
at a celebration to open a
water-pumping station in Iraq.

Many Children will be homeless and
struggling to survive in war torn areas.
They will be deprived of a childhood and
will grow up to foster hatred and distrust
of other cultures that will further more
terrorist conflicts into future generations.

Research
Cloning will remain an important area of
discovery and the competition for
patents will be fierce. Technological
advances in limb replacement will move
forward with the emergence of smaller
microchips.

The Internet will become a desolate
wasteland in the upcoming years as
people resort to private servers and
networks to try to control hackers and
viruses. In the next quarter, viruses will
repeatedly emerge and people will be
hard pressed to go anywhere on the
Internet for fear of contracting one. Major
software manufacturers will solve this
problem through patches. Leaving
behind cookies will become obsolete
and the process will be abandoned.
USA Homeland
People will react to the pressure of
another tragic airline event. Toward the
holiday, everyone's nerves are frazzled
and the airline industry will again
become depressed to the point of
bankruptcy.
Correct 12/25/03 Air
France Flight 68 from Paris to Los
Angeles cancelled due to security
reasons.  Flights suspended for
several days.

Many factors shift appropriately when
times are hard and people visualize the
idea of security in a free society. This
becomes upheaval in its own right.
While a few define security as the
closing of the borders, others argue for
identification cards and tighter local
controls. Fellowship among brethren
will shift as people become distrustful
and return to only trusting those in their
own cultural group. Sadly, freedom for
all will become freedom for a select
few.

A few readers questions for the
quarter

Q:  What happend at the Siegfried and
Roy show that caused Roy Horn's
near fatal injury?
Anonymous

The white tiger, Montecore (Moncetur is
the correct spelling), was willfully
fulfilling his role. He was distracted by
an odor and mistook it as a killing
event.  The event was a purely
instinctual response and not at all
related to the trainer.  The odor was on
Roy's clothes and possibly related to a
perfume or cologne left behind when
someone hugged him.

There was a flash of refracted light (off
the overhead lights) in the stage left
area. Roy did fall back slightly because
he was also startled by the light. This
incident and the hypersensitivity to the
smell on Roy's clothes caused an
unusual and quick reaction by the
animal. He had an instinct to pounce.
The tiger acted according to his nature.
It was all quite circumstantial. Correct
Correct 11/03 Long time, life partner
Ziegfried announced the event was
probably due to distraction from the
audience although not identifying it as
a light.

Roy Horn recovers on a certain level
but not in the same capacity as before.
He has substantial and major life
threatening injuries and his life will be
shortened significantly.  You see, death
is not a process to be stopped at all
costs.  Sometimes, death is a reward
for a life well-lived and well chosen.

Modern technology can sustain life
almost indefinitely (Within reason.
Eventually organs need replacement)
and dignified death will have to be
acknowledged in medicine at some
point if the art of medicine is to
progress as it should.

This is part of the lesson of Roy's life
and work.  It is the circle of life and the
love, magic, and peace that drives it. It
is the beauty of a life well-lived and
rewarded by a dignified death with the
pleasure and memories of having
seen the full measure of his talents
brought to so many. He is worthy of this
not a prolonged partial existence for
one who was so full of life.

{The channel has a very specific and
clear picture of Siegfried in the future
performing his illusion show. Roy (in
his full health and youth) and
Montecore are in the show in the most
spectacular 3-dimensional hologram
every made.  It will be a spectacular
effects show that is a tribute to the life
of the two and it will be as popular with
the public as the original and even
more so. It will also give Siegfried a
reason to continue Roy's life work.

Q: I want to ask about the Laci
Peterson case.
SB; Fresno, CA

This is a case of "mis"termination.
Laci's husband is to blame for her
death indirectly. He caused her death
quite by accident and is in denial with a
major cover-up to place blame on
mistaken identity. This flawed
approach will, in fact, work and he will
be released to freedom.

Q: What would be the clue to
unraveling the case?
A 9 iron in his golf bag. But he doesn't
have a golf bag? Yes, he does. If they
look for it, they will see.

Q: What about the black out in the
East in recent months. Was it a
terrorist?
Jennifer T; New Jersey

This was an event that would be
termed as a warning to people in
society. It was the result of a natural
occurrence combined with human
error. When the outage started, an
employee refused to switch over to
process the higher load. It was more of
a refusal than a mistake. The surge
caused an overload with a cascading
effect. This will occur again in the East
and people who live in those areas will
not be as generous or accommodating
this time. The power grid is overloaded
and "independently owned" electric
companies can do as they wish. This
is a dangerous combination and better
be addressed.
